A generational transformation in manufacturing is expanding the gap between education programs and industry workforce needs. Educators can take steps to mitigate the impending risk and prepare students for the modern workforce.
Hey,
As I'm starting a new year, we've been asked to request the educational licenses for AutoCAD and were told that the program should be available right after making the student account. We're required to grant a study confirmation, so I added both a confirmation from my school and my ISIC Card, since I saw it in the video guide. Both attempts were declined and as I have only the last one verification left, I'd like to know what is actually accepted. I did get in contact with my teachers and noone has an actual idea on why ISIC is not accepted. I also contacted Autodesk support about this, but never got an answer back. I hope I can get some help here as we're beggining the AutoCAD lessons soon and I simply can't make it without the license.
Thanks in advance for any help you guys can provide.

Well... As it turns out, if you launch the education portal, wait for it to load, and then refresh the page, there is a standalone AutoCAD Plant 3D installer that appears.
I have been working on this for about a week and I cannot believe that I needed to refresh the downloads page for all of the products to appear.
In any case, thank you again @h.eger for your help.
To access software and services under the Education plan, you must confirm your eligibility. As part of this process, you may be asked to provide documentation of enrollment or employment at a qualified educational institution.
To help maintain our commitment to providing free professional software for legitimate use in education, Autodesk has engaged SheerID, a third-party verification services provider, to verify eligibility to access Education licenses or subscriptions. All customers seeking free access to Autodesk professional products and services through the Education Community (US site) are required to provide proof of enrollment, employment, or contractor status at a qualified educational institution.
If you didn't, try downloading the same version of your installed AutoCAD. When you click on download in the education site, the license is linked to your account.
Then you only need to sign in with your account in the software.
I use Fusion 360 as a student since about 2 years and after the license changes applied, I confirmed my eligibility for the educational version. I got a confirmation for the access and got the product in my account. But when I open Fusion it says that my subscription is expired and i cant save files etc. and have limited functions only.
Have you re-requested Fusion 360? Since you were on a license from a few years ago it was likely you were on an old license, which has since expired. Merely having educational access does not grant access to Fusion 360. You can request Fusion 360 from here: -software/overview
My education license expires on May 26, 2021. On April 26, 2021, I decided to renew my educational access and it seemed to work. When I log in to the Autodesk website, it says that I have access until April 26, 2022. When I open up Inventor 2021, and go to manage license, the expiry is still May 26 2021 and it says I have 23 days until expiry. I've tried signing out then signing back in but it doesn't work. Apparently I need to activate my license but after going to customer support, they just tell me to sign out and sign back in, which I have already tried. Do I have to wait until the license expires to activate it??
I've renewed my educational access through the "Get Products" webpage, as you can see in the image attached, but I keep getting the Product License warning when opening Autocad. I've tried logging out from the account and signing in once again, but I'm still getting the pop-up window, making Autocad close automatically after 5 min. I cannot download a newer version since I already have the latest software.
In March 2020, Autodesk changed educational access from a three-year term to a one-year term. If you currently hold a one- or three-year single-user standalone (individual) educational licence for Autodesk software that was issued before August 2020, the licence will continue to run for its full term. When it expires, you will need to confirm your eligibility for the Education plan, then download the product to activate your license. There is no need to reinstall.
Autodesk Drive and other web services are offered under the terms of service agreement. The conditions that apply to a particular service may vary, so be sure to review the terms that accompany each service. These terms are in addition to any terms applicable to your use of any Autodesk software and subscriptions associated with a service and the website terms of use for autodesk.com and other Autodesk websites.

AutoCAD is licensed, for free, to students, educators, and educational institutions, with a 12-month renewable license available. Licenses acquired before March 25, 2020 were a 36-month license, with its last renovation on March 24, 2020.[28] The student version of AutoCAD is functionally identical to the full commercial version, with one exception: DWG files created or edited by a student version have an internal bit-flag set (the "educational flag"). When such a DWG file is printed by any version of AutoCAD (commercial or student) older than AutoCAD 2014 SP1 or AutoCAD 2019 and newer, the output includes a plot stamp/banner on all four sides. Objects created in the Student Version cannot be used for commercial use. Student Version objects "infect" a commercial version DWG file if they are imported in versions older than AutoCAD 2015 or newer than AutoCAD 2018.[29]
