Based on the bestselling book by Bethany McLean and Peter Elkind, this documentary takes an in-depth look at the rise and fall of Enron, once one of the most prominent energy companies in the world. It uncovers the corporate fraud, deceit, and unethical practices that led to one of the biggest financial scandals in history.

This made-for-television movie portrays the true story of the leveraged buyout of RJR Nabisco in the 1980s. It offers a riveting account of the ruthless corporate world, where executives battle to take control of the company, and backroom deals dictate the fate of corporations.

Anatomy Of A Scandal is one of Netflix's newest and most promising miniseries that follows a Parliamentary minister, James Whitehouse, who ends up in trouble when a devastating secret of his comes to light. It has everything a drama series fan could want, including a great cast list.

All this being said, while not every character on the show may be instantly recognizable upon first glance, many of the actors in the show have appeared in some really well known films and TV shows that audiences most likely have seen before.

Liz White plays Ali in Anatomy Of A Scandal, a good friend of Kate Woodcroft who has been assigned to the Whitehouse case. She adds more drama to the mix by telling Kate she doesn't think the accuser, Olivia Lytton, is telling the truth.

While fans might not recognize Liz White instantly, she also appeared in Unforgotten, Ackley Bridge and Life On Mars just to name a few of her projects. Although, her best role is as Jennet in The Women In Black.

Violet Verigo plays the Whitehouse's foreign Au Pair who is not mixed up with the scandals that take place in the show as she is mostly focused on making sure that Emily and Finn are cared for when they need to be.

Violet Verigo has worked on many short films including Lola and Rehearsal, but she also appeared on the TV series World On Fire. All this being said, her coolest job is most definitely the stunt work she did for Alicia Vikander in Tomb Raider, which is a great reboot of a fan-favorite movie.

Jonathan Firth plays Kate's former teacher and her occasional lover who also has a wife of his own. He play a much bigger part in the show than on the book it was based on, which means his character has much more depth than audiences who've read the book would expect.

In Anatomy Of A Scandal, Joshua McGuire plays Chris Clarke, the PM's director of communications who deals with some of the in cabinet scandal matters by being James Whitehouse's best advisor when it comes to the publicity of his scandal.

Joshua McGuire is best known for his role of Angus in Netflix's Lovesick. However, the actor also portrays roles in About Time, Mr. Turner, Misfits and Love, Nina. With his rack of great roles, McGuire certainly likes to keep busy with different shows and films all the time.

Josette Simon plays Angela Regan, James Whitehouse's defense barrister who helps him try to win the case against him, despite the overwhelming evidence that these severe claims about his history with different women is true.

Beside this show, Josette Simon has been in Wonder Woman, Detective Pikachu, Red Lights and The Witches just to name a few. She's had some major roles that have all prepared her for this role as barrister.

Ben Radcliffe plays the young version of James Whitehouse on Anatomy Of Scandal when he first meets Holly at school and advances on her. He not only perfectly captures the character, but he also has a great resemblance to Rupert Friend, who plays present day James.

One of Ben Radcliffe's most memorable roles was as Ralen on The CW's Pandora, however he's also appeared in Cuban Fury, Masters Of The Air and Hetty Feather. As one of the youngest actors on this show, it will be exciting to see how his career will grow from being on this series.

Michelle Dockery plays Kate Woodcroft, the judge in charge on James Whitehouse's case. She is one of the most complex characters of the series and her final character twist in the last few episodes of the season makes the payoff entirely worth it.

Michelle Dockery is most known for her role as Lady Mary Crawley on Downton Abbey, who many Redditors have unpopular opinions of. However, she's also done a fabulous job on Amphibia, Godless, Non-Stop and The Gentlemen. However, Kate Woodcroft might be her best performance yet.

Naomi Scott plays the role of Olivia Lytton, the women who accuses James Whitehouse of sexual assault in Anatomy Of A Scandal. She has one of the most emotionally poignant performances in show as she deals with the memories of being taken advantage of by James.

With this being said, Naomi Scott is best know for playing Jasmine in Disney's live action Aladdin, which is one of Guy Ritchie's highest-grossing films. In addition, she's appeared in the newest Power Rangers, Charlie's Angels and The 33.

Rupert Friend plays James Whitehouse, the star of Anatomy Of A Murder whose past scandal has come back to bite him. Rupert Friend is no stranger to playing the bad guy and his ability to play someone accused of sexual assault falls in line with this.

One of Rupert Friend's most recognizable roles is as Mr. Wickham in the 2007 version of Pride & Prejudice, which is one of the best 2000s period drama movies. He has also held the starring role in Hitman: Agent 47 as well as Prince Albert in The Young Victoria.

Sienna Miller plays Sophie Whitehouse, James' wife, who stays by his side during the trials of the show. She stays by his side, but finally stands up for herself when she learns just what kind of person her husband has proven to be.

Her most important previous role is as Nina Fawcett in The Lost City Of Z, a true life story about a British explorer in the Amazon. On top of this, she's also been in Stardust, American Sniper and Layer Cake.

Movies usually go hand in hand with popcorn, but we like to be extra over here. The concept is simple, just like our wine pairing series, except instead of pairing food and wine, we will be pairing food (or drinks) and movies (or series).

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is the most successful film franchise of all time. Its films have won critical praise, Academy Awards, and universal acclaim from fans. The series has turned B-level heroes like Iron Man and Captain America into icons on the level of Batman and Superman, and it's made superstars out of actors like Robert Downey Jr., Tom Holland, and Michael B. Jordan.

For a franchise that's being going for over 10 years, the MCU has been relatively free from the drama often associated with big Hollywood projects. There haven't been any directors accused of sexual assault, there haven't been any major stars who've walked away, and none of its films have been dumpster fires. But that's not to say the MCU is squeaky clean. Despite its success, the studio has faced some serious controversies that angered fans, upset actors, and more. From distraught directors to crazy conspiracy theories, these are the biggest scandals to ever hit Marvel movies.

Marvel Studios makes amazing movies, but it's fair to say most of them feel pretty similar. Sure, every so often, a director will put a unique stamp on their film, but for the most part, Marvel Studios has a tone they want for all their films. And if a director sees things differently, she might not be around for long.

The MCU has been involved in a couple public spats with high-profile directors. Most recently, Ava DuVernay walked away from Black Panther, saying she declined the project because "it really wasn't going to be an Ava DuVernay film." Patty Jenkins also had her fair share of issues when it came to dealing with Marvel. She was hired to do Thor: The Dark World, but after just two months she made the "painful and sad" decision to leave the sequel, as Marvel wasn't interested in the story Jenkins wanted to tell.

Perhaps the most infamous example of Marvel and a filmmaker clashing heads is the sad story of Edgar Wright (above). The English auteur had been attached to Ant-Man since 2006, but as Wright explained on Variety's Playback podcast (via AV Club), "I wanted to make a Marvel movie, but I don't think they really wanted to make an Edgar Wright movie." After the studio decided to rewrite the script without him, Wright said so long to the MCU in 2014. It was a disappointing departure and proof that no filmmaker can stray too far from the MCU style.

For the most part, actors really enjoy working on Marvel projects, but while Chris Evans and Chris Pratt seem pretty happy, not everyone has enjoyed their time with the Avengers. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Natalie Portman really wanted Patty Jenkins to direct Thor: The Dark World, so the actress got quite upset with the studio when they parted ways with the filmmaker. Portman stuck around for the film anyway due to contractual obligations, but she was quickly written out of the franchise with a throwaway line in Thor: Ragnarok. As to whether Portman would ever return to the MCU, the actress told the Wall Street Journal, "As far as I know, I'm done."

Mickey Rourke was also irate with the studio after Iron Man 2. Rourke wanted to flesh out the character of Ivan Vanko (aka Whiplash) and worked to create a more complex character. But according to Rourke, Marvel producers cut almost all of that out, leaving us with a far less interesting character. Of course, the most infamous examples of Marvel arguing with actors is how the studio treated the original Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) and the first James "Rhodey" Rhodes (Terrence Howard). While both men are notoriously difficult to work with, it seems they were cut from the franchise over money issues. For all the joy Marvel brings audiences, sometimes it leaves actors with quite a bit of heartbreak.
