Friends,

We are just a sunset away from the kick-start of another fabulous edition of Ananda Yana.  While we have our plans in place, we will need all your support in executing the same.

The first step in getting things in place tomorrow is that each of you are requested to reach Snehadaan on or before 4:45am or at the time as specified by your team lead - WHICHEVER IS EARLIER.

The Parking Volunteers will help you in getting your vehicles parked inside Sneha care ONLY if you reach the venue before 4:45am.  The Snehacare home gates will be CLOSED sharp 4:45am and if you come later, you will need to park your vehicle outside and walk towards Snehacare, offcourse Parking Volunteers will help you for this also.

It's preferred to wear an RH T-shirt (if you have one) and upon reaching the venue meet your team leader who will handover a volunteer sticker.  Please ensure you stick it to your tees which will help runners as well as yourself in case of emergency (it has contact numbers printed !!!).

Request all your cooperation & support.  Let's all strive to make this event successful.

Thanks,
Shiva,
On behalf of Ananda Yana Coordination Team.

Dear Friends,

Thanks a lot for your contribution in making 'Ananda Yana 2018' a wonderful event and a true journey of joy!  We are overwhelmed by the support and love shown by you to this event.

As you all know, the event is different in its concept and objectives. We are striving to create a space for a community-owned initiative that raises funds for a cause. Our objective is to support running and physical training for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. We are glad to acknowledge your contribution as the event has been successful in raising funds for the cause.

This event never fails to inspire us and bring us all together. Sometimes, its easy to get swallowed by the monotony of a schedule, the problems and so much stress that life brings. But, we see "Ananda Yana" as that fleeting moment of carefree indulgence, the warmth from an affectionate hug, a magic potion; call it whatever... but, it is something that reminds us as to why we run, why we want to be a part of this wonderful community and how we make a difference in lives. Its magic also because, we don't think anyone can explain it in words! Yet, every time runners finish and thank us for the event, the words they use epitomises our vision and intent of the event! This shows how well we have brought our thoughts into fruition!

We thank you, the VOLUNTEERS, who made this happen.  Yes, we all enjoyed being part of this whole event and we learned from it by contributing.  But, it is true that it takes a special something to contribute and make this a priority! For now though, we will just say 'Thanks' on behalf of the entire Ananda Yana Coordination team to you!

We possibly have options to improve or better things that we followed this year to make the next addition more memorable both for our volunteers as well as for runners. In this regard, we need your valuable feedback which will help us to structure and organize for next year. Please do spare a few minutes and fill this feedback form for us - https://tinyurl.com/AY18-Volunteer-Feedback/

We also have raised a lot of money and suspect it might be the highest ever that we have raised through Ananda Yana!! We are hoping we can do well and the much needed nutrition for all our children!  We have done a wonderful Ananda Yana 2018 - the sixth edition has been a bigger success than the previous editions without taking away from our trademark love and smiles :)

You can relive the magical moments by checking the photos @ http://anandayana.runnershigh.in/ay-2018-photos/

Thanks once again for a wonderful Ananda Yana 2018! We request your co-operation & support for the seventh edition next year, scheduled on 2nd June 2019.

Thanks & Regards,
Shiva,
On behalf of Ananda Yana Coordination Team.
