THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
“True, an ideal is not of any value if it cannot be translated into practice.”
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
“All difficulties that beset a man in his progress towards God can be overcome by His grace.”
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
“ Gita tells you what you are in reality. It infuses into you strength, purity and peace. It is a mine of wisdom. Dive deep into it and you will come by the priceless gems it holds .”
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
“The love of books relating to God, devotion and knowledge is helpful in our progress towards the realization of our true being, which is eternal bliss and peace. But to be bound up only by this pleasure without attempting to taste the joy born of the Atman, by rising superior to the craving of the senses and the intellect, is to hug ignorance.”
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
“There are times when we may take certain happenings in our life to be jarring and therefore incompatible with His love. Here our vision of the glorious ideal gets blurred and our faith in Him as infinite Love gets shaken. To say that He is our God, to admit that He is all Love, and that we have surrendered our whole being into His hands, and still find fault with His workings and see evil and cruelty about us, is not consistent. Then our attitude towards Him is not as God but a devil who wantonly inflicts pain and misery on ourselves and others in the world. Resignation to such a devil can bring us no good.”

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
“Harmony is of the Spirit, but it can be made to reveal in the external life of humanity only when we turn our concentrated attention to the Spirit that dwells within.”

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
“A man may bring about any change in his external life and environment with a view to gain peace, but the experience of thousands, who are wandering on the face of the earth in search of suitable environment to attain peace, has been that they have failed to do so that way. The change must be brought about within ourselves in the inner vision.”
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
“Don't be carried away by the notion that it is given only to particular persons to scale the heights. What others have done and can do, you also can achieve.”

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
“You, as an entity separate from the all-pervading, immortal and eternal Spirit of all life and form, do not exist. You are ever one with that cosmic and transcendent Truth.”
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
“Since the almighty Truth, that is absolute power, peace and bliss, is ever dwelling within our hearts, to feel that we are weak and miserable is to ignore Truth. "Be a hero in the strife". Bravely face the petty storms of this phenomenal life.”
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
“Give up the individual "I". God only is, and He is all. Even your Sadhanas are not yours. Whatever one does is His act. It is He within, without and everywhere. He is at once the actor and non-actor. He is all.”
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
“Change is the law of nature; it signifies rise and fall, the twin aspects of the same movement, each aspect carrying with it the same sense of greatness or littleness.”
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
“Real poverty is the poverty of the soul, a poverty in which the mind is ever in a state of turmoil due to doubts, fears and cares.”
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
“The Name is God, the Guru, the all in all. Indeed, the power of God’s Name is simply marvellous. It can take man to the summit of spiritual experience. It grants one eternal freedom, bliss and peace.”
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
“No amount of argument can make you understand the Truth. Direct perception and experience alone can grant you the vision of the Truth.”
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
“A God-realised soul alone can awaken and kindle another soul. Going to temples alone will not do. Reading books alone will not do. The contact of great souls who have realised God is essential.”
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
“It is much easier for a poor man to tune his mind to the Divine than for a rich man who is steeped in worldly pleasures. Many of our Rishis and saints were born poor.”
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
“Seek not to find peace and freedom in the external circums-tances of life. True freedom and happiness is an inner state which you acquire when you are in tune with God who dwells within you. Let the knocks you get in life turn you more and more towards God.”
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
“Religion is the bedrock on which a true regeneration of mankind can be brought about. But this should bear all the characteristics of a universal religion based on the teachings of the great Masters from whose lips flowed the same wisdom and truth.”
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
“Guru is the spiritual awakener. Guru is God embodied in human form to liberate souls from ignorance. Ignorance is disease. Knowledge is health. Guru is the divine doctor, who cures us by giving us knowledge of Self.”
