Hi all,

Just wondering if any of you can help me and a colleague. We're due to publish a book on carbon management in the built environment later this year and am trying to track down a diagram on anaerobic digestion.

We'd like to use the figure from the UK LCTP (attached if attachments don't get removed by the list) and we have permission from Defra but the publishers aren't happy with the quality - needs to be a minimum resolution of 600 dpi. I'm trying to get the original from them but the trail seems to be running cold and time is ticking so just wondering if any of you have one that you could give us permission to use?

If so, please could you email it to me at keith...@gcu.ac.uk with a note to say we have permission to use it and any reference details that should go with it? Obviously you'll get a note of thanks in the acknowledgements too. Sorry I can't offer any payment but we're only getting pennies from this ourselves.

Cheers and thanks,

Keith

Sorry I can’t help with the diagram but was interested to note that the digram attached shows heat from generation going to greenhouses but doesn’t seem to show any heat going to the digester!

In my experience, a significant quantity of the heat produced from burning the biogas in a CHP set is essential to heat the organic wastes in order to sustain the digestion process and biogas production.

Regards, Bob Carne.

Try

Lucy at biogengreenfinch who did a ppt with a good diagram in it for a presentation

Or Steven Temple who has also produced diagrams of his own digester

(I have copied them in)
