Announcing the full list of artists and projects for the The 11th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art’, featuring 70 projects and over 200 artists and collaborators.

Opening from 30 November 2024 until 27 April 2025, the Triennial will consider knowledge in its many forms, following thematic threads such as care for natural and urban environments, intergenerational experiences of migration and labour, and nuanced approaches to storytelling, materials and technique.

Woods III: Inscriptions and Excavations

Shigeo Toya's beautiful carved installation Woods III 1991-92 is placed in dialogue with contemporary Japanese works by Lee Ufan, Tokihiro Sato, Yoko Asakai and Yuta Nakamura, addressing creativity, time, and the natural and constructed world.


Asia Pacific Triennial

Artist list announced

The next chapter in QAGOMA’s flagship exhibition series opens on 30 November 2024. The Asia Pacific Triennial will feature 70 projects from across Australia, Asia and the Pacific, encompassing the work of more than 200 artists, makers and thinkers.

APT10 awarded by Creative Australia

APT10 was recognised at Creative Australia’s inaugural Asia Pacific Arts Awards on 23 April, while the collaborative focus project ‘Women’s Wealth’ from APT9 was shortlisted in the Innovation category.
