With thanks to Nur Shkembi for passing this on - an upcoming event in Melbourne this week, which Nur is involved with.

Dear colleagues,

Please see the invitation below for the launch of Diversity Arts Australia - Fair Play Reflection Report to be held at the Wheelers Centre on Thursday 19 February 10am-12pm. DARTS have been conducting important research and delivering impactful programs in relation to the arts sector cultural infrastructure, capacity building, hiring practices and engagement, with a focus on policy development for accessibility and inclusion and the real world challenges and outcomes of the sector.

For those interested in diversity in the arts, please feel free to book and come along, and please also share with other industry colleagues, academic staff or students who may be interested in this research. In particular, arts, art history, curatorship and arts management students may find this useful. As an early industry mentor for the program I will be joining the panel discussion on the day.

Bookings are essential (morning tea provided).
Booking link and details in the email below.

Warmest wishes,
Nur

Final Reminder! You're Invited:

To mark the first seven years of the Fair Play program, Diversity Arts Australia warmly invites you and your team to the launch of the Fair Play Reflection Report on Thursday 19 February at the Wheeler Centre on Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung country of the Kulin nation.

The event will bring together past Fair Play participants along with mentors, educators and partners who have contributed to the program’s evolution.

You will hear reflections, insights and stories that shaped Fair Play’s impact across Victoria and beyond, including contributions from project partners such as Accessible Arts Victoria, Koorie Heritage Trust, Garuwa/Shifting Ground and others.

As part of the morning, we will also share an update on Fair Play’s next chapter, including our new online and on-demand training that builds on the foundations of the program.

We're looking forward to seeing you there!

If you haven't already registered or shared apologies, please register as soon as possible: https://bit.ly/Fair-Play-Reflection-Report-Launch-Invitation

We look forward to celebrating with you.

Warm regards,

Diversity Arts Australia (DARTS) team

Fair Play is Diversity Arts Australia’s capacity-building program supporting organisations and venues to strengthen their work with marginalised communities.
