Hello, it has been a while!
2024 has been a year of reflections and prioritising solidarity and care away from the public eye. We have been pondering new ways to work with artists and communities while recovering from collective grief and burnout. Taking things slow has nurtured our senses towards a more sustainable way of working, with that, we are so excited to open up these new opportunities to re-connect with you all.
This New Moon in Scorpio marks a new beginning for many (Happy Dawali to those who celebrate!), so it also feels like an auspicious time to announce our new programs in 2025:
Starter Pack🧸 is a new pilot for our mentorship and micro residency program. It aims to connect emerging artists with mid-career practitioners in a fee-based development program. It's our version of (mini) art school alternative.
Sprout 🌱 is our funded artist residency program. Non outcome-driven, artists are encouraged to spend up to 4 weeks with us at the Hyphenated House to develop, gather, dream or rest.
Liminal x Hyphenated Projects Writing Fellowship✨ is the only residency on this continent specifically designed for Asian Australian writers. We are so excited to be able to offer this once again in its third edition.
