Dear collagues, I'd like to share event information on behalf of a UNSW colleague, regarding an upcoming event as part of 'First Peoples Exchange', connecting First Nations & Adivasi writers that may interest this community. Olivier

First Peoples Stories from India at UNSW on Nov 12

We warmly invite you to an event that has been years in the making: a rare public conversation with two Adivasi writers from India, Beni Sumer Yanthan and Hansda Sowvendra Shekhar. From (de)colonisation, language preservation and revitalisation, to oral storytelling traditions, this dynamic conversation, facilitated by Sydney-based writer Sunil Badami, will shine a light on the lives of India’s First Peoples. Free event. All welcome.
