4A Volunteer Program

4A VOLUNTEER PROGRAM 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art is launching a new volunteer program. Are you someone who is interested in contemporary art? Have you ever wondered how an art gallery is run? If so, this might be an opportunity for you! We are seeking volunteers to contribute to key areas of our operations, including front-of-house services, library administration, installation and curatorial support, public and educational programming. Volunteers will work alongside our dedicated staff and artists, gaining experience and insight into the inner workings of a dynamic, small-to-medium not-for-profit arts organisation. Volunteers will be involved for up to 16 hours per week, with a minimum commitment of 6 hours every two weeks, offering a valuable chance to expand their professional network, deepen their understanding of the arts sector and build practical skills. Volunteer selection will take place in January 2025, with successful applicants required to come in to 4A for volunteer program orientation on the week of 20 January 2025.
