The Department of History of Art at the University of Michigan is pleased to announce that applications for the Forsyth Visiting Graduate Student Fellowship are now open for the 2025-26 Academic Year.
We invite graduate students specializing in all subfields and periods of art history enrolled in M.A./M.Phil./PhD degree-granting programs in art history or closely related fields at U.S. or international universities to spend one full academic year at Michigan as visiting graduate students.
Selected fellows will receive financial support in the amount of the current GSI funding for an academic year (approximately September 1 to April 30, currently $27,539) as well as reimbursement for round trip travel expenses to Ann Arbor.
