This can include both academic books as well as exhibition publications, large or small, for panel attendees to browse. Coinciding with the 2024 AAANZ Conference
Dear AN4AA community,
As you would have seen from our recent email, forwarded again below, there will be a number of Asian art related research papers at the upcoming AAANZ conference at the ANU, Canberra. Indeed, it's exciting to see the abundance of Asian art related research!
We thought it would be excellent to have a social gathering of Asian art researchers during the conference, since this is a rare opportunity for us all to get together. This will take place on Thursday 5th December, 1.00pm-2.15pm at the National Film and Sound Archive courtyard, to coincide with the lunch break during the AAANZ conference that day (we note however that there is also a presentation of AAANZ Awards at this time so this time may not suit everybody, but it was the most suitable time we could find for us to gather). The National Film and Sound Archive is a short ~9 min walk from the main AAANZ venues on ANU campus (there's a small cafe adjacent to the courtyard).
Please note that we are just helping to coordinate a social get together among us; any food and drinks will be self-paid/can be brought along. Our understanding is that registration for the AAANZ conference includes food and drinks.
So please come along if you're free. It will be lovely to catch up!
