Dear Our valued partners,
Due to the heavy congestion prevailing in Chennai container terminal, the feeder operators has imposed CTR (chennai trade recovery) @ usd 150/teu ( usd 6/cbm), hence we are left with no option than to charge the same from the consignees .
For Import shipment – the date of applicability shall be ETA Chennai 1st September 2011
Please find attached circulation of announcement of CTR Pl take note of the notice on the revision of CTR from 01st of SEPT 2011.

We wish to keep you informed before-hand on the Implementation of Chennai Trade Recovery surcharge w.e.f September 1st 2011 in Chennai both for in-bound & out-bound shipments.
The Chennai Trade Recovery will be applicable as per below:
For Import shipment – the date of applicability shall be ETA Chennai 1st September 2011
