Inthis practice test, users have the ability to go back and review or change their answers at any time. In the official test, once you have completed a section and moved to the next one, it is not possible to return to it.

In this practice test, users have the ability to control audio and video tracks with a playbar. In the official test, audio and video tracks will only play once and users will not have access to a playbar.

Information on Accessibility Features and Accommodations The full list of accessibility features and accommodations for the MCAP Assessments can be found in the Maryland Assessment Accessibility & Accommodations Policy Manual. Answer masking, color contrast (background/font color) and text-to-speech for science, are available for all participating students who need these tools, but need to be identified in advance via the Personal Needs Profile (PNP).

Information on Accommodations The full list of accommodations for students with disabilities and English learners can be found on pages 27-47 of the Accessibility Features and Accommodations Manual.

The interaction has been updated to a more common design that aligns to the standard interaction used by screen reader users. Now, when students navigate into a multiple choice field, the radio button given focus by the Screen Reader will automatically be selected. Students can use the space bar to remove the selection.

A screen reader is a software application, separate from text-to-speech embedded in TestNav, which conveys web content through audio. Screen readers are appropriate for students who are trained to use the software and who use it in the classroom, including those who are blind or have a visual impairment.

Large Print To print Large Print Paper Practice Tests to the optimal enlargement of 150% to 18 point font, they must be printed on 14" x 18" paper. Do not use print scaling or fit-to-page in your printer settings. Large Print Paper Practice Tests can also be printed on 11" x 17" paper with a print size of less than 150% of the standard print. For this, print scaling or fit-to-page must be set in your printer settings.

Tactile Graphics Tactile graphics are images that use raised surfaces so that a person who is blind or visually impaired can feel them. They are used to convey non-textual information such as maps, paintings, graphs, and diagrams. If you have a student who is blind or has a visual impairment and who requires tactile graphics to take the practice tests, please email mcap...@maryland.gov.

The car driver knowledge test and course is available on the Plates Plus website. This can be completed on a computer, mobile or tablet. See the Plates Plus course frequently asked questions for more information.

You may also choose to sit a standalone version of the Driver Knowledge Test which does not require you to complete the Plates Plus course before sitting the driver knowledge test. This is only available at Service Tasmania shops. To sit the test you will need to bring evidence of identity with you.

Disclaimer: While every effort has been made to ensure that the information in this practice test is accurate and conforms to Tasmanian legislation, it must not be construed as a legal interpretation of legislation. The questions in the practice test are subject to change, and may differ from the actual driver knowledge test or the questions in the Tasmanian Road Rules Handbook.

These resources support the practice and training tests for the CAASPP and ELPAC. Do not use any of these scoring guides, PFAs, DFAs, or performance task rubrics when administering the summative assessments.

The following are key differences from the operational assessments to consider when using these practice test and training test resources to prepare for the Initial Alternate ELPAC and Summative Alternate ELPAC:

For the Alternate ELPAC, test examiners have the ability to use picture cards during the student's test administration. Picture cards are a resource used for students who communicate using picture cards or an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) device. These picture cards should not be substituted during operational test administration. Print or upload the picture cards to the student's AAC device as appropriate. All of the practice test picture cards for each grade level or grade span can be accessed via the following link:

Test examiners have the option to use answer choice cards that are available as a stand-alone PDF. Some students communicate using picture cards or answer choice cards. If test examiners do not have standardized answer choice cards for use in the classroom, they may use the answer choice cards accessed via the following link:

Each practice test contains 30 multiple choice questions based on the content in the Drive Safe handbook. You must choose the most correct answer from the 3 options provided. Some of the questions will be based on an image that will appear on the screen. You must complete all 30 questions before you can see your results.

The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

I am nearing the 1 month anniversary from the date that I opened up the student dashboard on NBCOT.org and saw the glorious screen featured above. After 4 days of absolute despair and uncertainty (I swore I failed), I received the news that I passed. Not only this, but I passed with a 520; a score I definitely did not anticipate receiving after so much self-doubt.

So how did I manage to pass the NBCOT on the first try with a mere 21 days of studying under my belt? Below I outline the specific resources I used and my study strategy that led me to this accomplishment.

I want to stress that the MOST benefit from this source is reviewing the rationales when you answer a question wrong as well as when you answer correctly. Reviewing the rationales allows you to understand how the NBCOT wants you to think and clinically reason through each of the questions. It is hard to learn this through memorizing facts so reading through the rationales is the BEST way to form a general idea of how to answer the questions.

I recommend watching her videos towards the end of your study session when you are beginning to feel tired of reading and taking practice exams. She is literally a breath of fresh air and she has an uncanny ability to keep your interest with her entertaining life stories and examples.

One word of caution though: If you are a first-time test taker like I was, there will be stories that pop-up of individuals that have taken the OTR and COTA exam multiple times without passing. This test is not easy and these stories are a testament to that.

***During week 1 and 2, I would study Monday-Friday for 8-10 hours each day. On the weekends, I studied for maybe 1-2 hours max. The rest of the time on weekends was dedicated to getting out of my house and doing something fun for a much needed mental health break.

Week 3: I took 3 Therapy Ed Practice exams (simulated like the real thing to build my testing stamina) and 1 NBCOT Practice exam (that I regret). After each Therapy Ed exam, I took a 2 hour break to eat, relax, watch TV or workout. Then I would study the rationales using the Therapy Ed book. Before bed, I would always watch 1-2 OT Miri Videos.

The 2008 civics practice test is a study tool to help you test your knowledge of U.S. history and government. Use this online tool in English to prepare for the civics portion of the naturalization test. The civics practice test is also available in Spanish, but please note that the actual test is in English.

The actual civics test is NOT a multiple choice test. During the naturalization interview, a USCIS officer will ask you up to 10 questions from the list of 100 questions in English. You must answer correctly 6 of the 10 questions to pass the civics test.

Certain applicants, because of their age and time as a lawful permanent resident, are exempt from the English requirements for naturalization and may take the civics test in the language of their choice. For more information, see our Exceptions and Accommodations page.
