Looks heavy. Mine is already in the mail. An epic tomb of knowledge
for sure. And the price on book depository is so low I feel like I'm

yeah, the authors of the book paid much more in writing time than any of the
readers will pay for reading it... there's no money to be made in academic
publishing.

... I guess the only solution is to buy the authors drinks if you run into
them ;)
after all that is the common currency between open source developers/users.

i ordered it some weeks ago, but book depository still says that they are waiting for it to be published :(((
how can yours already be in the mailbox???

MIT has been sending out the contributor copies.

amazon also says 22nd of april as earliest shipping time.

Sorry Susanne, that might have been a little too glib of a statement. It's at least paid for. When I ordered it last wednesday book depository said it would be ready to ship in 9 days.. which would be the 22nd.

i just got a message from book depository that it has been made available from the publisher, and will be shipped in the next few days :)
so... they booked the money already from the account??? good to know...
