Hi there everybody!

A couple of days back, I created a very simple logo for our group
(it's the one that @amsrb is currently using as an avatar... go to
http://twitter.com/amsrb and click on the avatar in see it in full
size) and I know that some people liked it.

After this, I've also received a proposal from @gabim (here his
proposal: http://gaw.in/amsrb.png) and that made me realize we should
define our logo together.

So... I want you to give your opinion about the existing proposals or
even propose something and let's decide which is the best logo that
will represent us from now on!!!

Best regards,
Javier.-

It's still just a draft.
I will probably change the shape to reflect a old shield.

Personally I liked this original:
http://gaw.in/wapen.jpg

With a draft like this:
http://gaw.in/amsrb2.png (work in progress, still need to draw the
lions etc)

But I think all the gold stuff and lions etc might be a little bit to
much.

ow, and it's @gawin ;-)

Hi there!

Gawin, I'm so sorry I wrote your twitter account incorrectly.

By the way, I like the second one so far. I can imagine with the lions... magnanimous! ;)

Best regards,
Javier.-

Hi Gawin,

Thanks for the logo suggestion. I like the draft one better. The ruby
belongs in the logo :)
I'm looking forward to seeing the result of your work in progress.

Cheers,

Wes

Hi Gawin,

I definitely like http://gaw.in/amsrb2.png !
Although the shield's (gold) gradient does not quite match the style
of the ruby itself.

But it is a great start! Thanks :D

Thx, totally agree with the gold gradient feedback (it doesn't have a
real gold feeling yet)
Perhaps I should check if other materials (aluminium alloy, wood etc)
work better.

Maybe you can use Metal
(http://weblog.rubyonrails.org/2008/12/17/introducing-rails-metal) ;)
