As you know 30 and 31 october will hold the annual RubyAndRails
conference in Amsterdam. This we will have quite some foreigners
flying in. To entertain them we will organize a get together in a bar
on Friday and a dinner and geek party on saturday (bring your
MacBook ;-) on saturday.
Buttttt, people maybe fly in on thursday, maybe we can arrange
something in cooperation with Ams.rb?
BTW: On saturday there will be tutorial sessions, any one in for a
presentation?
Cheers,

RubyEnRails 2009 Amsterdam
The monday before ReR we have the regular Amsterdam.rb meetup, but we
can always add another one on thursday.
I'll start thinking about something interesting I could give a
presentation about. The problem for me is that it's hard to figure out
what might be interesting for the attendees.
Chris, do you have insight in the experience level of the attendees?
If it's 90% newcomers, any presentation related to Ruby is
interesting. If it's 90% people with 3+ years of Ruby experience like
me, it's going to be a bit harder to come up with topics that will
turn their world upside-down through new insights.
When people have presentation topic requests, you are welcome to make
suggestions. When I know the topic or would like to research it, I'd
be happy to give a presentation about it.
Cheers,
Wes

3+ years is maybe too much. I guess the most will be ±1 year.
