Hey Danny,

Sorry for that. I just thought it was a good place and I understand
that there are places thought just for recruiting.

Sorry again,

Hey Dann!

Just wanted to say we are devs, connecting with other devs and yes also looking for people to join our "super, cool, new project", what else do you have to say? it's shit haha. I do think it's relevant.. if you don't fine... but we are not recruiters.

Like Timon is think user group lists can really help in finding the right people for your startup. Nice for devs too... it's devs to devs. No to recruiters, yes to people looking for devs as Timon said.

Other Ruby groups even asked us to do a preso one time, to yes, show off our "super, cool, hot, new" project.. isn't that what it's all about? making and creating things together?  we are looking it at is creating nice things together and other might wanna join..and so it can be very relevant to them..

Just saying... this is how i feel about it and others might feel this too... why not show of what you are proud of? why not look for like minded people who might be interested..

But if it's an issue, no worries... just thought i gave my opinion about it too...and RB groups do it differently...we even met up and showed the stuff we where building..

Anyways.. no worries..

Tim

Hi Tim,

I agree with Timon and others that using the Amsterdam.rb mailing list
to reach out to devs is more than fine, in fact it is the smart thing
to do.

As I suggested to you in the past, maybe the best way to reach out and
show why Shuffer.fm is so cool is to present to devs on your
infrastructure and what you are currently working on.

But, I leave that ball in your court :)

Have a great evening,

Josh

Hey Guys,

Sorry that i've picked your specific post out but this was not
addressed to you personally or company, in fact your project is
awesome!
What I should have done was create a new thread and addressing this
issue in general.

Still, I personally disagree with the other guys that we should use
this group to look for new team members.
Because majority seem not to be bothered I will respect this but I
still think this should be done in other places instead.

My apologize for offending anyone, this was certainly not my purpose.

Danny
