請教一下介係詞片語修飾的問題...

不曉得別的書上看到的句子能不能問..@@試試看

小弟看到
(a) Ann put her books on the desk

(b) A leaf fell to the ground

(a)和(b)的介係詞片語分別是on the desk和to the ground
(a)的"put"是及物動詞, 受詞是"books", 所以on the desk是修飾前面的books, 是形容詞片語
(b)的"fell"是不及物動詞, 沒有受詞, 所以to the ground是修飾前面的fell, 是動詞片語

這是小弟自己想出來的似是而非的判別...請問這樣判斷可以嗎?謝謝

別的書的作者應該要有類似我們這樣的論壇才對，不過我們還是回答你好了。

on the desk 和 to the ground 都是當作副詞片語使用，都是修飾動詞：

put....on the desk 置放在桌上(修飾動詞put，表示Ann置放書本，「置放」在....地方)
fell to the ground 落向地上 ；或是 fell on the ground 落在地上 (也是修飾動詞fell ，表示樹葉
「落向或落在」....地方)
