Guest Lecture on 12th February

Hello everyone,

This is to inform you that as discussed earlier; a special guest lecture from one of the core members of the Siemens management team in Germany, i.e. Mr. Tobias Bauer, is arranged in our institute campus on Tuesday, 12th February 2013 between 5 pm to 7.30 pm.

Mr. Bauer would be sharing his experience in the company so far and will elaborate in a brief presentation on Siemens' strategy w.r.t Mergers & Acquisitions, Integration and SMART Solutions.

After his presentation, it would be an open Q & A session for the students and our institute faculty/staff members to interact with him and/or post their respective questions.

Brief Profile of the Guest: 

- Mr. Tobias Bauer has been working in Siemens since 2001; based at the company headquarters in Germany.

- He holds an MBA degree from Columbia University, New York.

- Over the years, he has managed and executed post merger projects in Europe, Asia and the US.

- His current title is 'Head of SMART Solutions' looking after the Metals Technologies Long Rolling business division.

- Currently based in Mumbai, Mr. Bauer is responsible for building up a global sales structure for a new portfolio targeted on emerging markets.

All students who wish to attend this session are requested to assemble in the seminar hall at 4.45 pm sharp.
