MAS Conference, HSV - 7-8 APR 09
Folks,
This is a reminder for the above conference – this is still a go in case you were concerned about possible cancellation due to the economic “downturn” and assorted consequences thereof.
Our MAS website link below includes the hotel reservations link, the registration link, and the paper submissions link. Please note that the early registration fee deadline (for non-members) and hotel block coverage at the Embassy Suites expires in less than a week, so please register accordingly and encourage others who are participating in your sessions/tracks to do so as well.
Designated track/session chairs are encouraged to have their respective participants/presenters submit their session paper titles and short abstracts using this user friendly method which we can then monitor to facilitate program development. Please feel free to direct any questions/concerns to me and/or Pat Driscoll (on cc above), especially “contributed” papers that may not seem to align with any particular track topic – we would like to accommodate all who wish to participate as long as conference room space/time remains available. Please have your papers, and those of your contributors, into us NLT 7 MAR as well.
We have plenary speakers lined up now, and the possibility of one or more workshops. We also intend to use this venue to launch a new, regional INFORMS chapter as well. More to follow . . .
I’ve been on the road almost the entire month of FEB, and although this pattern abates somewhat this month I know I’ll still be “AWOL” a good chunk of the time, so please call me on my cell with any questions/issues/assistance you might have. Thanks again to you all for your interest and suppport.
