Human Terrain and Whole of Society Modeling

Hello, friends and colleagues!

I send you this email as I want to make you aware of two calls for papers for journals dealing with closely related domains that are of particular interest to the modeling & simulation community: Addressing “Human Terrain” and the “Challenges of Whole of Society Modeling.”

 

Together with John Sokolowski from VMASC, I am pursuing a special issue on “Human Terrain Modeling” for the Journal of Defense Modeling and Simulation (JDMS). The CfP is already online: http://www.scs.org/pubs/jdms/specialIssues/specialMSHTS.html

 

A little bit broader and designed to bring additionally needed communities into the circle of M&S support of Whole of Society Modeling is the second call for papers, which has been accepted by Simulation: Transactions of SCSC. Sue Numrich helps me with this one. As of this morning, the CfP was not yet online, but will be so soon. I attached the accepted draft.

Please consider to contribute to these issues and send it to colleagues who are involved in related interesting studies.
