Stem cells are nearly a prophecy on the verge of being fulfilled; it promises repaired nerves and new organs, a promise that will render parts of medicine obsolete. Join in and get involved in this endeavor and explore future potentials that are beyond our imagination.
IFMSA-Jo has started the Jordan University Stem Cell Initiative (JUSCI) (www.jusci2010.com) with the aim of establishing and expanding the knowledge and expertise in this exciting field of science and delivering such knowledge to students through lectures and direct interaction with the field experts.
Therefore, and under the sponsorship of the University of Jordan, the IFMSA-Jo is organizing the 1st conference for Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine in Jordan for all interested medical students under the IFMSA umbrella.
Learn everything a junior doctor would need to know on stem cells and their clinical application in 2 days in the period of 22nd-23rd of October 2010, and experience the beauty of Jordan in the 3rd day. Do not miss the trip that will leave its print in your mind and soul.
The conference will also organize many workshops that will focus on topics important for the future of a medical student.
All the sessions and workshops will be given in English
