MDSG Leadership Update

Dear colleagues,

It is my pleasure to announce that Destiny Meadows (UNC at Chapel Hill) has been elected as MDSG Co-Chair, and Kari Lindquist (UNC at Chapel Hill) has been elected as Secretary-Treasurer. I am very excited to be working with both and looking forward to seeing what their tenure will bring.

Alas, this joy must be balanced with sadness, as this also marks the end of Rebecca Schwartz’s time as Co-Chair and Lena Leson’s time as Secretary-Treasurer. Both have served in these roles since 2020, and in that time they have had an immeasurable impact on our study group. It cannot be overstated how much work Rebecca and Lena have done behind the scenes to keep things running, organize workshops, nurture our subfield, and—perhaps most importantly—to build community. Please join me in thanking both for their tireless service and dedication.
