Online on Zoom · Sunday Mornings · 6:55–8:00 AM IST ·

Fully in English · Followed by Q & A

A new class series on the Muṇḍaka Upaniṣad, unfolded in the traditional Advaita Vedānta method — with careful attention to the original text, Ādi Śaṅkarācārya's commentary, and the clarity required for serious śravaṇa (listening).

No prior knowledge of Sanskrit is expected. Regularity and seriousness are expected.

Anyone may also join the other ongoing classes at anytime. It is not mandatory to join only at the beginning of a text. A sincere seeker can enter the stream at anytime, listen regularly, and grow into the method.

Nine years of systematic online teaching

Classes have been conducted on Zoom since 2017. Over these nine years, two complete cycles of the Bhagavad Gītā, one cycle of Upaniṣad classes, Yoga-sūtra and other introductory texts on Vedānta have been taught. The new Muṇḍaka Upaniṣad class continues the same steady method—not a quick talk, but proper unfolding of the text.
