Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Jayanthi – 19th February 2026

Sri Ramakrishna Jayanthi in 2026 will be celebrated on Thursday, February 19, 2026. This day marks the birth anniversary of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, a revered saint known for his teachings on unity and love among all religions. The celebration follows the Hindu lunar calendar and is observed with prayers, spiritual discourses, and communal meals at various Ramakrishna Math centres worldwide.

On this sacred day, we bow to the great Master, Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, whose life was a beacon of devotion, service, and realization of the Divine. His vision gave birth to the Ramakrishna Mission, which continues to inspire countless souls in the path of service and spirituality.

Sri Ramakrishna taught us that “Service to man is service to God”, reminding us that true worship lies in helping the needy and uplifting humanity. He lived the essence of Sanatana Dharma, embracing all paths and showing that every religion leads to the same Truth.

Sri Ramakrishna (1836–1886), born in Kamarpukur, West Bengal, was a mystic saint who experienced God through various paths—Hindu, Christian, and Islamic. His life was a living testimony of harmony among religions. His disciples, most notably Swami Vivekananda, carried forward his mission of service, education, and spiritual awakening across the world.

Happy to share few Quotes of Sri Ramakrishna:

·         “Service to mankind is service to God.”

·         “God is in all men, but the manifestation of God is more in some than in others.”

·         “The aim of human life is to realize God. That is the only purpose.”

On this Jayanthi, let us rededicate ourselves to his vision—to serve the needy, to live in truth, and to walk the path of devotion.
