Sir,

I understand that there is a SLOKAM to be chanted while lighting a lamp.

Is it possible to send the same to me in English or Hindi or Tamil.?

There are various versions.  Here I am giving the Tamil version of what I learnt from my grandmother.

தீபம் ஜோதி நமஸ்துப்யம் தீபம் ஸர்வம் தமோபகம்
தீபேன சாத்யதி சர்வம் தீப ரூப ப்ரபோ நம:

மாலையில் விளக்கேற்றும் போது
சுபம் பவது கல்யாணம் ஆயுர் ஆரோக்கிய ஸம்பத:
மம து:க்க விநாசாய சந்த்யா தீபம் நமோஸ்துதே.

Yes, there is a Sanskrit sloka which I am reproducing in transliteration:

Shubam bavatu, Kalyana-

Ayurarogyavardanam

Mama shatru vinasaya

Deepajyotir namamyaham

There are a few such slokas in each language including Tamil and Malayalam. GS

Deepajyoti parambrahma deepajyoti janardhana. Dheepo harathi may papam sandhya dheepam namosthuthey.
