Varroc secures major Global EV contract

Varroc, a leading global Tier-1 automotive supplier, has announced a significant new business win with an international electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer. The agreement covers the supply of critical high-voltage electronics for next-generation e-powertrains, marking a major step forward in Varroc’s expansion into the fast-growing electric mobility space and reaffirming its position as a trusted global technology partner.

As part of the multi-year contract, Varroc will supply a complete suite of high-voltage electronic components, including power electronics units, inverters, onboard chargers, battery management systems (BMS), and DC-DC converters. Production will take place at Varroc’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Romania, ensuring adherence to global quality benchmarks and seamless delivery to the OEM.

The contract spans eight years, with peak annual production capacity valued at INR 8,000 million based on projected volumes—one of Varroc’s most substantial electronics programmes to date.
