Proverb- Moral- Teaching & Moral Story - Wisdom Pearl for Sharing

We are all aware of the Proverb: “If you close your eyes to facts, you will learn through accidents.”

While going through the Proverb it gave a lesson that Respect truth and reality—ignoring them leads to painful lessons since the Facts are like guiding lamps, when we accept them, life becomes safe and wise. Instead If we neglect them, accidents become our teachers, but they teach with pain.

In a village, a bridge was built across a river. At the entrance, a signboard read: “Do not run on the bridge. Slippery when wet.”
A boy named Arjun laughed at the warning and ran across. Halfway, he slipped and fell into the river. He was rescued with difficulty.

That day, Arjun realized: “The signboard was not an enemy, but a protector.”

From then on, he respected facts and told his friends: “If you ignore facts, accidents will teach you—but painfully.”

Final Takeaway: Learn from truth, not from accidents. Wisdom means opening your eyes to reality.
