Dear all Gosevaks

 

Wishing you all a very wonderful calender year 2016.

 

Would like to thank you all for your interest in Goseva and contributions  for Gosamrakshanam.

 

 Glad to inform you all that the rains did not impact our Goshala at all. Due to the Blessings of our Acharyas, we were not affected in any way .

The rains have improved the water table and will be very useful for our agricultural operations

 

 With the Blessings of our Acharyas during the year 2015 we have added the following activities

 

1. Sri Sankara Clinic- This was started in May 2015 to offer basic medical services to the nearby 10-15 villages where there are no doctors.

This was done  in association with The Hindu Mission Hospital Tambaram. We had already constructed a mini hall of 450 Sq ft for this purpose.

Glad to inform you that the clinic has been very useful to the local population especially to the old ladies and children.

Financially, the entire expenses are being borne by us.We have had donors contributing specifically for this cause.

The clinic works 6 days a week from 4pm-6pm.

 

2.Flood Relief The unprecendented rains did cause  some damage to our village and sevaral houses were affected.

We were able to mobilise funds and materials from several sources ( about  Rs 3 lacs) and offer relief materials - rice, blankets, mats etc-  to about 1000 families in Gudalur , Kazhanippakkam and Pettai villages.This has generated  further goodwill for us. 

 

3. Manufacture of Goark( distilled Go Mutra)  We have already commenced  production of Goark. The process involves collection of cow urine early morning (4 am) from cows directly in a vessel and then  boiling and distilling the urine  Have already sent a detailed mail to all of you regarding the health benefits of cow urine.Indeed cow urine is an elixir.  Its medicinal properties have been known to us for hundreds of years and  when all the houses had cows it was a practice to take fresh cow urine daily. Hence they had the immunity against several diseases.   It contains

 several  minerals  ,

 builds our  immune system ,

 is an antioxidant  - anti cancer

anti bacterial

anti fungal

balancer of Thri Doshas 

bio enhancer

reduces the side effects of several diseases like Blood pressure, Diabetes etc.

is an alkaliser

cures urinary infectiions.

 

Almost  a Sarvaroga Nivarani.  Patents have been given in the USA for some of these properties.Enclosing an article i received regarding Cow urine.

 

What more can you ask for, It is time that we understand  the benefits of Gomutra and start consuming the same as a preventive against several of the current day diseases .

A 500 ml bottle would suffice for a month for a family of 3.( cost Rs 150). We will be  not only be having good health  but also saving thousands in medical costs.

 

 By popularising the consumption of Goark we  will all be doing a great service for Gosamrakshanam. Since we will be creating a good value, much higher than milk, for cow urine, farmers will not sell the cows for slaughter even though the milk yield is less. This is real Gosamrakshana.  Moreover all the  Goshalas will become self reliant  and will not have to depend on Donations 

Several new Goshalas can also be started.

 

 Would request  each one of you  to benefit  from this and also take active part in populariaing the consumption of Goark. Please be an ambassador for Goark and  Gosamrakshanam  

 

Would request your help  also in distribution of Goark-. Being a liquid we are not able to send by courier. If  we can get a  volunteer in major towns, we can send by transport service to them and others can collect from them. You will doing a very great service for Gosamrakshana. Would request your active participation.

 

Let us all make this  year, the year of Goark and Gosamrakshanam.

 

4. Agricultural Products: We  produced  small quantities of  100% organic Ground nut oil  / sesame oil .  We also produced  100% organic Hand pounded Mappilai samba/ Jeeraga samba/Ponni rice varieties. These are  clean food and full of nutrition. Mapillai samba Kanji is very good for Diabetes. These have been well received and  are available in limited quantities.

 

5.Other cow products: In the  coming months we are planning to produce additional varieties of Goark like Tulsi Goark , Ganvati (residue of Ark with certail herbs), Agarbattis, Mosquito coil, all using cow dung and cow urine. Also Panchagavya Grith-  Panchagavya in ghee base- a cure for cancer.

 

6. Panchagavya made the traditioal way-  As you all may be aware, panchagavya made in the traditional and as per the sastraic injunctions is a great medicine   and can extinguish even our karmas.  It acts at the skin and  bone marrow  level  and can cure  several diseases including cancer.It has to be prepared  and consumed  on the same day.The 5 items- milk, curd, ghee, gomutra and gomayam have to be mixed in a certain proportion reciting mantras for each ingredient and the person consuming also has to recite a mantra while taking the Panchagavya. The mixing has to  be done by a Vaideeha and  person consuming should do so with full faith. We are planning to try this in this year.

 

7.Godhanam- Last year we also received 10- 12 cows as Godhanam and as an offering from people who wanted to save cows from slaughter. Almost all of these would have gone for slaughter had we not bought them.

 

A lot needs to be done. Tamil nadu is one of the worst offenders in Gosamrakshanam. Every sunday in every village atleast 3-4 cows are being slaughtered  and consumed even by Hindus.  The sight at Shandis( Sandhais) is very distressing. Cows and calves  are being treated with disdain and as commodities. We all need to work more and with more vigour. It will take all of our collective will and efforts to make a change.

 

Let us all commit ourselves to this great cause- GOSAMRAKSHANAM -  a cause espoused by H H  Kanchi Mahaswamigal and all Acharyas.

Let Gomaathaa Bless us in this endeavor.

 

Indias future will depend on the way we treat Gomaatha. Let there me no doubt in this.
