The details of forthcoming Parayanam are as follows : 87th Veda Parayanam of Maha Pidi Arisi Thittam Devotees KRISHNA YAJUR VEDA SAMHITA PARAYANAM  at Sri Pushpavathy Sametha Sri Brahma Gyanapureeshwarar Temple, Korukkai, Pazhayarai Village,  from 25.02.2018 to 27.02.2018 With Mahaswamigal, Kanchi Achaaryaas, Sivan Sar  and Pradhosham Periyavaa Anugraham, our 87th Veda Parayanam is being held at Sri Pushpavathy Sametha Sri Brahma Gyanapureeshwarar Temple, Kourkkai, Pazhayarai Village.  The Krishna Yajur Veda Samhitha Prayanam shall start on 25th of February 2018 and shall conclude on 27th February 2018, with Pradosham Abhishekam to the Lord. All Siva Temples will have One Nandi but this temple has Two Nandis before Lord Shiva and Pushpavathi ambal.    The timing of the Parayanam shall be from 08.00 AM to 11.00 AM and 03.00 PM to 06.00 PM but will be subject to the temple timings.    Temple speciality - Avittam Star - Pudu Periyavaa This Temple has been considered as specific sthalam for Avittam Nakshatram and Pudu Periyavaa being Avittam Star, we consider this as an blessing for organising this parayanam at this temple and praying for Pudu Periyavaa's Health.      This Parayanam is being sponored by Siva Saagaram Trust - Sadguru Sivan Sar, Poorvashrama younger brother of Sri Mahaperiyavaa The timing of the Parayanam shall be from 08.00 AM to 11.00 AM and 03.00 PM to 06.00 PM but will be subject to the temple timings.     88th Veda Parayanam of Maha Pidi Arisi Thittam Devotees  KRISHNA YAJUR VEDA SAMHITA PARAYANAM  at Sri Sathyabama and Sri Rukmani Sametha Sri Gopinatha Perumal Koil, (Gopinatha Vinnagaram) Patteeswaram, Pazhayarai from 26.02.2018 to 28.02.2018       With Mahaswamigal, Kanchi Achaaryaas, Sivan Sar  and Pradhosham Periyavaa Anugraham, our 88th Veda Parayanam is being held at Sri Sathyabama and Sri Rukmani Sametha Sri Gopinatha Perumal Temple, Patteeswaram Temple.                        The Krishna Yajur Veda Samhitha Parayanam shall start on 26th February 2018 and shall conclude on 28th February 2018. It is in this the Lord appeared as Sri Krishna to Arjuna and as Sri Rama to Hanumar. Sri Bheema had the Vishwaroopa Dharshan of Lord Hanuman in this kshetra. This Temple known as "Gopinatha Vinnagaram" has been rightly called as "The Dwaraka of the South" by Dr.U.V.Swaminatha Iyer.  This temple had taken all the beating and shocks of the history and negligence of the devotees, but even today Sri Gopinathaswamy Temple had not failed to provide solace to the devotees. Today, this once spectacular temple is in shambles and presents a picture of tears except for the relics of the ruined walls. The Hindu Religious Endowment Board has graciously sanctioned funds for a “Soutary Pooja” and poojas are performed once a day through this scheme.   The timing of the Parayanam shall be from 08.00 AM to 11.00 AM and 03.00 PM to 06.00 PM but will be subject to the temple timings.    The sponsor for this parayanam is by Sathguru Sivan Sar Devotees - Poorvashrama younger brother of Sri Mahaperiyavaa   Both the Parayanam is being conducted under the guidance of Shri.Tippirajapuram Narayana Ghanapatigal.
