Namaskaram

We are delighted to share the composition of Sri Chowaloor Krishnankutty who has beautifully described about the Lord of Guruvayur.

We are indeed thankful to Sri V.S. Krishnan Mama who helped us getting this translated in short notice.

The composer feels in this song

  • Never for a moment can he remain without seeing the divine from of Guruvayurappa
  • Never for a moment can he remain without listening to the sweet melodious music which flows from the divine Flute
  • He always remember His divine form of Vaka Charthu which the lord sport in the early morning at Guruvayur
  • Whenever he sees feather of peacock too his divine form flashes in his mind
  • Whenever he sees the divine play "Krishna Nattam" he remembers the divine sports of the Lord
  • He further says that he always remembers the Mischievous Glance of the Lord

The Lyrics with meaning and the audio link is shared in the following link.

Come hear this divine song and soak yourself in that divinity.

I am sure the Lord of Guruvayur will accompany you while you hear!

Oru neramenkilum - Chowaloor Krishnankutty
Have a divine Sunday and great week ahead.

Humble Pranams

Thanks again. Some songs irrespective of language touch your heart and linger on in your whole being with eyes getting moistened and there are two such songs on Lord Guruvayoorappan that simply enlighten people hearing them, one being 'Oruneramenkilum" and the other "Karuna Cheyyuvan entu Tamasam Krishna". Man is an emotional being and these songs add to Bhaktirasa, worshipful nature, utter humility and tell us what Bhakti really is in common language easily understandable  and can be sung by everybody. These moments of life bring untold peace and happiness wherever you are. Like that Harivarasanam made a heart patient in U.S.A to face the surgery with a smile. Divine music's serene hold on humanity could not be erased even by technology, on the other hand it has helped to enhance and widen its hold.  Words  can never express fully such feelings. GS
