Kuchela Vrutham (Upaakhyaanam) :
All of us know the story. But few inference (Guna Paadham) we have to learn are :
(1) that one should not steal Gods property or anything belonging/owned by HIM. While at Gurukulam at Santheepini Maharshi Aashram both Krishna and Sudhama were sent to forest for bringing firewood by gurupathni. The food for both –2 pack of Aval – was entrusted with Kuchela. Sudhama and Krishna got separated due to heavy thunder and rain and were upon 2 different trees. Due to hunger Kuchela ate his share of Avil. But to make his stomach full he ate the share of Bhagavan Krishna also. For this sin of stealing the share of Bhagavan; Sudhama had to undergo Kashta and Duritham for years. Kuchelan burnt this sin by way of perennial sufferings.
(2) Bhaagavan makes you bring back what someone takes away which belongs to HIM; one day of the other. May be the load of penalty is un definable.
(3) A handful of Aval when offered with true devotion, affection and love see what Sudhama Got back – Achanchala Nishkapata Bhakthi for the asking and . Sarvaabheeshtam for not asking. There is a parallel story for establishing “”you give little with true devotion and love to GOD – and see what you get in return “ “ - Upon Sisupaala Siraschetham Bhagavan wounded his pointer finger due to aberration caused by HIS own Divya Chakra. Paanchali who was standing next to HIM tore end portion of her Mel Vasthram and covered the wound of Bhagavan. For this devotion see what she got back later. Akshayya stream of Vastharam blessed by Bhagavan at the Deutha Sabha. The glaring note that we have to watch here in both these cases is that the devotion were of Nishkaama Karma – offering with no expectation in return or Prathyupakaaram
