*IRCTC – Facility to Find Vacant Seats*

*Live Reservation Chart for Passengers*

IRCTC has introduced a special facility – *Vacant Seat Finder*.  

After *Chart Preparation, the live Reservation Chart becomes available online. It shows **coach-wise vacant seats and berths*.  

*Step-by-Step Process:*  
- Visit the IRCTC official website or open the Rail Connect App.  
- On the homepage, click *Charts / Vacancy*.  
- The Reservation Chart page will open.  
- Enter Train Number, Travel Date, and Boarding Station, then click *Get Train Chart*.  
- The chart will display in a class-wise layout.  
- Select your coach type to view the list of vacant seats.  
- Note down the coach and seat number, then approach the TTE immediately.  
- If the seat is still vacant, the TTE can allot it as per railway rules. Pay the required fare, and a receipt will be issued.  

👉 Thus, even passengers with *Waitlisted Tickets* can secure a vacant seat and travel comfortably.
