Dear Devotees

Recently in HIS anugraha bhasan, HH Periaval said  - "In my purvashramam, one of the 4 books that greatly influenced ME and particularly kindled MY interest in Srimatam and Mahaperiaval, is Acharya Swamigal Upanyasangal. "

We are all fortunate that with the blessings of HH Periaval, Mullaivasal Sastrigal will 'read' chapters from the book and add his own commentaries. To quote Chief Justice Mishra "These discourses are remarkable for their simplicity and enchanting style. The most complex ideas are explained so lucidly that everyone can comprehend them...". "Not just the wisdom of vedas and scriptures, but the essentials of sanatana dharma, modern science, ancient arts & culture." 

Quite simply, reading and reflecting on these discourses is a great blessing bestowed on us by our Acharyas.

These lectures will be, as far as Sastrigal's other commitments permit, every Saturday and Sunday, 7 to 8 pm, IST. 

The first lecture will be on Sunday, 28th March. It is Panguni Uttiram, and, as an introduction to the lecture series, in fact we will start with recent discourse by Periaval, Sri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal, on 'Tiruppukazh'. You can download a copy of the lecture which is attached at the end of the email. A transliterated version is also attached.
