We are very happy to inform you that Amrita University has recently
signed an Agreement of Cooperation with University of California,
Davis, which is ranked as one of the top 10 public universities in
USA, and consistently ranks amongst the best universities in the
world. The faculty is well known for its research particularly arts
and sciences. Amrita Center for International Programs (ACIP) is
pleased to announce our second working program with UC Davis - the UC
Davis – Global Study Program.

ACIP invites applications from top performing students for this
program. ACIP will select a maximum of 5 students for the academic
year 2012-2013.

UC Davis India Global Study Program: The purpose of the Global Study
Program is to enable students to enroll in courses at UC Davis for
credit which will be applied towards their degree at the home
institution, as well as further students’ academic and cultural
enrichment and personal growth. UC Davis will provide each student
with an Orientation Program and ongoing academic oversight, advising
and support.

Program Dates: Students can study at UC Davis for a minimum of one
quarter (11 weeks) up to one full year (four quarters or 12 months).
Students may study upto 12 units per quarter, if students perform
well, they can increase their course load.

Program Costs: The total estimated program expenses per student are US
$5,565 per quarter or US $16,445 for one year. Students can
participate in student activities, including student clubs and
athletics, internships and academic support services at no extra cost.
Accommodation costs vary between US $475 to US $1000 per month.

Who can apply?

Bachelors and Masters students in any discipline (for courses
available at UC Davis) from all campuses are welcome to apply. (MBA
not included). Applicants are required to have excellent proficiency
in English and strong communication skills.
