James,

I have fancified the url procedure so that it can be called from
popup widget from popup widget.
It uses the \amrBeginWidgets \amrEndWidgets macros to position widget
inside widget.
The handler uses option: lower-left ul(widget_id) + (dx,dy)
The included widget is not positioned quite right.
Possibly because I am using version version 3.00 (release 14-03-2006)
But from previous discussion "pdflatex widgets with amrita" (April 28, 2008)
I am waiting for next version to correct feature I am using.

Attached is mailit and pdf it generates.
With acroread, if you click on "click to open widget"
and then click on "toggle pop up"
the "popup text" is not properly placed.

You should have used:

inline lower-left ul(widget_id) + (dx,dy)

so as to ensure that the child widgets are positioned
correctly relative to the parent. I'm attaching
urltest_v2.{mailit,pdf} which works with AMRITAv3.02 .
It should work with your version. Note that I've
removed the reference to latex:widget::level as
it is not visible to usercode in v3.02 .
Instead I've introduced a variable rtm::level
which fixes the notional level of your popup.

As I'm currently on-the-road it's a bit difficult for
me to co-ordinate an offical release, but I'll see
what I can do.

James,

Thanks for your quick response.
Your revised pdf file does indeed display widgets as intended.
On my old version

inline lower-left ul(widget_id) + (dx,dy)
generates amrita error.
Don't worry about this while you are on travel
as this is not urgent.
