All,
I am interested in a problem with an embedded boundary given by an exponential function.  For example, y_wall=Exp[x].  The distance function PSI from an arbitrary coordinate (x,y) point to the wall requires the solution of a transcendental function.  Has anybody encountered this difficulty, and found a workaround?
I am thinking of aproximating the Exponential with a piece-wise continuous parabolic shape, for which I can express the distance function analytically.
Thanks in advance,
Matei
