You will be glad to know that Gurbani Kirtankar, Dr. Jagir Singh, who had Retd. as Deputy Director, Punjab School Education Board, and thereafter was appointed as Chairperson of Department of Gurmat Sangeet, Punjabi University, Patiala, from which post he retired on the 31st December, 2009. Now he is completely devoted to research and teaching of Gurmat Sangeet . Besides this, he continues to publish - Amrit Kirtan - the magazine devoted toGurmat Sangeet, and he along with his Ragi Jatha is available for Kirtan recitation as and when the Sangat calls him for that.
