Hi Friends,
Today around 18 of us meet at the Amrapali Office with Mr. Mohit Gupta. Please find the meeting mts below -- I am writing them down in question answer form

Question - What is the current Status?
Answer - NCRPB approval will take around 15 more days and you will be able to see construction activity within 20-30 days at the site.
Conclusion => In general Mr. Mohit don't give exact days , so we are hoping that this time also he remains correct, will came to know in 15 days. If anybody is planning to sell he should wait for 15 days.

Question - What about SC court case?
Answer - Till now petition has not been accepted, this is a procedure in which authority has been asked about the details. Moreover in patwari 85% people have taken the increased compensation and land letters. According to him such type of thing always happen, it is because of political reasons this issue becomes so hot , and will take some time to get out of the people radar.

Question - Is there any exit option?
Answer - you can sale your villa in the market and pay us the transfer charge we will transfer. If you surrender it to amrapali then we will just return the original money may be with little interest.

Question - What about the new deadline for possession ?
Answer - The question can best be answered after starting of the construction .

Question - Why is it that we all listen to news from newspaper? Isn't it the duty of the builder to tell us about the current situation which we got twisted from newspapers?
Answer - This builder accepted, and we will send him what info we want and he will mail us all the history and current situation.

A lot of the discussion is done, few people ask and complain about builder strategy and future....nothing significant .
In case I missed anything please feel free to add in this.

Thanks to all who was a part of this meeting, we have discussed that we will now plan to meet builder on first week of June, hopefully till then construction should restart.

Thanks Vikas for sending the update...  Let's hope Mohit Gupta is right this time on the "15 days" timeline. Although based on different news reports it seems optimistic. Yesterday's hearing in SC has also not yielded any clear results.
I think Mohit Gupta has been saying 15 days for last 4-5 months.

I am also of the same opinion.. Construction won't start before another 2 months that too if everything goes well in the SC....

Thanks a lot villas and whoever made for meeting.

As usual mohit didn't, answer any question directly except about sell or surrendering of villas. Even for surrendering he offered LITTLE interest. It should be at least 10% as per recent guidelines of SC.

I may be too pessimistic but construction won,t start at least in next 2 months.

Thanks again for sharing these moms.

Hoping for the best

Thanks Vikas for putting down MoM. I also think that the construction restart would take some more time unless any other hurdle comes up.

NEW DELHI: BJP members in Rajya Sabha today said the controversy over construction of residential apartments in Noida Extension on Delhi's outskirts has not been resolved due to "red-tapism".

Raising the issue during Zero Hour, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi (BJP) said 10 lakh people, who have booked homes there, were left in the lurch.

He said dreams of about 10 lakh people who booked houses by investing their entire lifetime savings have crashed and they are now demonstrating at Jantar Mantar here for justice.

The prevailing red-tapism in Central government, preventing it to come out with a solution, has also rendered lakhs of construction workers jobless and they are on the verge of starvation, he said.

"The National Capital Region Planning Board entrusted with the task of deciding on the issue has failed to come out with a master plan," he said.

As regards compensation to farmers whose land was acquired, they are yet to get justice even as the High Court has come out with a solution. "It was decided to give 64 per cent compensation to farmers but they are yet to get it," he said.

Naqvi demanded that the minister concerned should direct the NCR Planning Board to immediately solve the issue and implement the master plan which is gathering dust in files.

Members from BJP and CPI-M supported Naqvi. Last year, the Allahabad High Court, while staying construction activity, had directed Greater Noida Authority that construction activity will begin after NCR Planning Board's approval of the Master Plan 2021. However, the approval is still pending
