Can I run AMPL models on IBM cplex studio ?

Hello, I am a newbie to AMPL and Cplex environments. 

I want to ask if I have set of .mod and .dat files on AMPL, can I run them on IBM cplex studio or the language is different. If I can, How?

You cannot use AMPL .mod and .dat files in IBM's CPLEX Optimization Studio. As explained at https://www.ibm.com/products/ilog-cplex-optimization-studio, CPLEX Optimization Studio only supports IBM's OPL modeling language and IBM's CPLEX and CP Optimizer solvers.
