Here's an explanation that was also posted on our online forum at groups.google.com/group/ampl:

We are aware of this problem. There's nothing wrong with the new amplgsl.dll, but an incompatibility of the AMPL-solver library with the gsl_sort function is causing solvers to reject any attempt to use gsl functions. New, compatible versions of the solvers will be released in a few days. Meanwhile, the previous version of amplgsl.dll will continue to work, and remains available for downloading from the following links:

Windows: https://ampl.com/NEW/amplgsl/amplgsl.mswin64.zip
Linux: https://ampl.com/NEW/amplgsl/amplgsl.linux-intel64.zip
macOS: https://ampl.com/NEW/amplgsl/amplgsl.macosx64.zip

Dear All

I received my AMPL license for teaching a few weeks ago.
Today I programmed a model that uses the function gsl_cdf_ugaussian_Pinv and solver Minos.
When I run the model I get the following message: MINOS 5.51: function gsl_sort: ftype = 16; expected 0 or 1.
I am not using the sort function.
It seems that the gsl library (amplgsl.dll) is not working properly.
I have consulted with colleagues and the same thing is happening to them.
If we use an older version of amplgsl.dll the model runs fine.

Do you know if there is something to do with the amplgsl.dll library version AMPLGLS 20211014, GSL version 2.7, available on the AMPL web site?
or Who can I ask?
