I hope that you are doing well.

I want to ask if there are services (paid or unpaid, beside the neos server) where ampl models can be submitted and solved using computers with very high computational capabilities? I'm very interested in using solvers KNITRO and GUROBI to solve large mixed integer non-convex and convex problems and I hope if such services are available.

Regards

Abdelrahman

Hello Abdulrahman,

I'm the developer of LaModAl (https://lamodal.com), a web-based AMPL IDE which offers many features, including remote solver execution using NEOS or self-hosted optimization servers. This last feature enables the user to run AMPL remotely at any Linux machine, so for instance from your laptop at home you can run AMPL in a computer from your university, or on a virtual machine at Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure. This is not a publicly released feature yet, but if you are interested in trying it out I can include you in our beta testing program. Just let me know at davi...@lamodal.com

Best regards,
Davi Doro
