Hey guys,

I downloaded the zip *amplide* and compiled the .mod .dat and .run files in
its amplide.exe and then test the errors in its sw.exe. So by far I have got
.mod and .dat files without errors detected by the sw.exe

But when I tried .run in sw.exe with: *ampl: include name.run*;
then got "Vessel is already defined". (Vessel is one Set in my .mod)

then I tried with the following and got nothing but *ampl?*
ampl: model name.mod;
ampl: data name.dat;
ampl: solve;

And also when I compiled the mod and dat files, the interface of amplide.exe
wont give me error reminding automatically.

So my question is what is the widely used and high efficient way to use
ampl?
and how to run my .mod and .dat files to get a solution? I prefer CPLEX
solver.

Are you using the reset command?

Remember that everytime you want to run again a .mod file that you have already run before you have to use the reset command.

Or maybe in your .run file you are declaring your set again when it is ready declared in your .mod file.

I had the same problem my first time with ampl but I had that problem because I didnt use tge reset command.

Regards
