can't reopen AMPL console in IDE once closed

I closed AMPL console in IDE in Windows 64 bit and cannot reopen it.

I tried deleting AMPL and AMPL IDE and reinstalling but it remember the 2 panes - directory on left and file open on right but no console.

I found the minimised console icon on the right of AMPL IDE then clicked 'restore' and it returned as middle panel.

I also clicked 'console' and a console appeared across the middle over the top of files open. I clicked maximise icon of console and it restored to middle panel.
