Orientation 2 Summary

Good afternoon AMP students!

We had another wonderful AMP orientation yesterday. If you missed the session, please review the recap below and the recording for more info.

3. AMP website - The website is another good resource to find info, forms, and external resources https://sites.google.com/umn.edu/ampwebsite/home. In the future, I would like the recordings to be moved here.
   
   
4. CHIP application - All AMP students must apply and submit their CHIP application before the deadline, February 15th. Please refer to the recording and the attached PDF sample AMP CHIP application for guidance. If you still have additional questions after using these resources, please reach out to me.
   
   
5. Clinical Shadowing Process and Reflection Form -  Be on the lookout for an email from Dr. Kevin Thao. He's going to do an e-intro as well as disclose the clinical shadowing process again. Please respond accordingly to his email.
   
   Attached to this email is the Clinical Shadowing Reflection Form in PDF and Word Doc. This form is for documentation and reflection purposes. We would like you to get into the habit of reflecting on your experiences and connecting them to your motivation in pursuing medicine. Please send me an email notification before you start and after you end your clinical shadowing. I would like to document and know when it occurred in case I need to help you resolve anything.
   
   
6. Wicked Problems Course Tuition - I appreciate the students that have been in communication with me regarding their Wicked Problems Course tuition. If you haven't sent me a screenshot of your tuition charges yet, please do it asap (If you haven't registered for the course yet, do it ASAP). I would like to resolve any billing errors before the tuition payment deadline. Please see below for an example of what I'm looking for in the screenshot.
