French professor in anthropologylooking for a research assistant, October 2013

 

Profile :

- graduateor PhD student

- cantonese-mandarin english speaker ideally with a basic level in Hakka.

- experience in fieldresearch in sociology, anthropology, or economics

 

The job willinvolvestaying in a Shenzhen former village (松元厦 in 观澜, northern Shenzhen) for 14 days.

Tasks : observations and interviews (translation from English or Mandarin to Cantonese and Hakka) + interview transcriptions in mandarin.

Dates:October 17– October 30.

Salary : 400 HK dollars/day or 325 RMB /day.

Food, hotel and travelexpensesfullycovered.
