Hi,

it took long, but finally happened and is hopefully just in time
before the freeze for the next Debian release called Squeeze -- it is
already just in time before my holidays which start on Friday. Those
two things were also the right kick to finally get it done. ;-)

I found some leisure and (took some) time to get a current snapshot of
Amora-Applet 1.2 building without prior installing Amora-CLI locally
-- which is a must if building both packages from the same source
package:

http://code.google.com/p/amora/source/diff?spec=svn689&r=689&format=side&path=/trunk/amora-server/Makefile

I did some more fine-tuning, updating the packaging code, etc. and
uploaded revision 695 to Debian unstable.

It's currently waiting[1] in the so called NEW queue for approval of
the FTP masters because now are two (plus one transitional) packages
generated and all new package names must be approved by the FTP
masters.

I also already found some minor glitches (amorad.8 should be amorad.1,
amorad-gui has no man page yet) which I'll fix in a later upload
(which won't have to go through the NEW queue and shouldn't be a
problem even after the freeze, since I don't expect new features but
only bugfix until an official and final 1.2 release. And bugfixes are
still very welcome after the (more or less feature-) freeze.

Kind regards from Zurich, Axel
