Just turn to on the corner of HSBC Bank little line way (alley) walk or drive to end I will guide you for parking. If you like to park at MFO please ring me on 0413134671 when you arrive to security gate, we will open gate for you.
Amnesty International Gold Coast invites you to join International Women's Day an intimate gathering with special guest speakers who are working to amplify women's voices in the local community.
Open conversations light refreshments and film shoving on 12th of March at 6.00pm Address is 79 Scarborough St, Southport QLD 4215.
There will be catering food supplied by Amnesty GC.
International Women's Day in History
Even though International Women's Day is a well-known moment in most countries, it's often helpful to still set some context.
International Women's Day (March 😎 is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
The day has occurred for well over a century, with the first IWD gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. Prior to this the Socialist Party of America, United Kingdom's Suffragists and Suffragettes, and further groups campaigned for women's equality. Today, IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere.
