Dear friends,

Amnesty International Gold Coast will be co-hosting an event, together with Art+Potluck Project*, celebrating International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT). This day is commemorated internationally on 17th May, and celebrates LGBTQIA+ people globally, and raises awareness for the work still needed to combat discrimination.

Event details:

Rainbow Dinner for Gender Equality

Saturday 28 May 2022, 5:30 – 8:00pm

The Artists Hub Gallery, Chevron Renaissance Shopping Centre, Surfers Paradise

The event is FREE to attend, but RSVP is required due to seating and space limitations. We will be able to accommodate 50 seated guests. If you or anyone you know are interested to attend this event, please RSVP via this link: https://events.humanitix.com/art-potluck-evening-rainbow-dinner-for-gender-equality-with-amnesty-international-gold-coast

Registered guests will be requested to bring a small plate of food to share at the event. Special guests will be invited to join a panel of speakers who will share their experiences, passions and advocacies relevant to gender rights and equality issues.

The event will be an intimate gathering of people at the dining table, allowing everyone to have a chance to meet and converse with each other, while sharing food, stories, art, poetry, music and performance.
